Simple: একটি স্বাধীন clause — "The exam was difficult."
Compound: দুটি স্বাধীন clause যুক্ত (and, but, so, or দিয়ে) — "The exam was difficult, but I passed."
Complex: একটি স্বাধীন + একটি নির্ভরশীল clause (because, although, when, if, which দিয়ে) — "Although the exam was difficult, I passed."
Essay-তে তিন ধরনের বাক্যই মেশানো linguistic range-এর ৬ মার্কের চাবি — প্রতিটি প্যারাগ্রাফে variety রাখুন।

↳ Simple — একটি clause
✓ Fees are high, but loans help.
↳ Compound — দুই স্বাধীন clause + but
✓ Although fees are high, students who get loans can study.

⚠️ বাংলাদেশি শিক্ষার্থীদের কমন ভুল
- •পুরো essay শুধু simple বাক্যে লেখা → linguistic range কম, নম্বর কম।
- •Comma দিয়ে দুই বাক্য জোড়া (comma splice): "It rained, we stayed home." (✗) → "It rained, so we stayed home." (✓)
- •অতি লম্বা জটিল বাক্যে অর্থ হারিয়ে ফেলা।
💡 মূল টিপ: প্রতিটি body প্যারাগ্রাফে অন্তত একটি complex বাক্য রাখুন (although/because/which দিয়ে) — এটাই grader-দের চোখে পড়ে।
